Hi, I have logitech wireless keyboard and mouse (LX700) that has been working fine for a year or tow but has today developed an issue

Whilst the keyboard works fine, the mouse is doing nothing. It is present in device manager, but checking mouse properties through control panel there is no info about the hardware.

I have tested this mouse with another PC and it is fine, another wireless mouse also does not work properly.

Have deleted and reinstalled the drivers for the mouse, keyboard and USB controller, but no joy. Umpteed restarts and several different USB ports tried, but no difference - ideas much appreciated!

Am getting the idea that this is a windows issue as the hardware seems ok. xp pRO sp3

battery is fine - works perfectly with another PC

Update - I have tried rebooting with the attached PS2 connector plugged in and the USB detached - when I do this, the mouse works fine, but obviously I have no keyboard - attach the USB (with or without the PS2) and I have keyboard, but no mouse!!!

Disappointed at the lack of responses on this. Turns out it was not battery related OR hardware, but windows - surprise, surprise.

Running Ubuntu everything worked fine straight away, a reinstall of windows then fixed the problem. I gues it was just that time!

Most who respond seem to have experieince with the problem; it may be that your problem was very rare and no one had experieinced it before you did. Glad you solved it. Now when a similar thread is posted you can share your experience!
