Benjamin Wedro, MD, has spent his career teaching and practicing emergency medicine. His background includes undergraduate and medical studies at the University of Alberta, a family practice internship at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, and residency training in emergency medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Life Fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine.

He has held teaching appointments at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Wedro has provided medical consultation at major international sporting events including the Winter and Summer Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, and the Pan Am Games. Wedro has also lectured throughout the US and Europe, and has presented research at a variety of medical conferences.
