About two weeks ago I got this dull achy crampy feeling in my lower abdomen/pelvic area. It was really annoying but didn't bother me too much until recently. Now the achiness has turned to pressure and bouts of sharp shooting pains that run up my right side. It feels like my insides are going to fall out my vagina and anus. I even feel the pressure in my anus when I'm sitting down! I thought maybe I had to go number 2 and sat down on the toilet and tried but that was a bad mistake. These sharp stabbing pains radiated from my anus all the way into my vagina and up into my pelvic area. I literally cried out in my pain and my husband and daughter came running. Any idea on what's going on with me? I dont want to go to the doctor b/c I dont have insurance and am hoping desperately that this will go away on it's own. Has anyone experienced these symptoms and if so, can you please help me! Also does anyone know anything about tingling/numbness in your hands?

When our body's experience pain usually indicates something's wrong and need to look into it. U should still see a doc even if u have no insurance. They can set up payment plans. It's best that u get medical attn soon before pain might get worse or even life threatening!

I know exactly what you feel. I have been having those exact same symtoms. Did you ever figure out what was wrong? I have been having those pains for a while now. I'm going to the doctor in about a week to find out. I hope it isn't anything serious. Well, let me know. My email address is ****. One more thing. This only happens when I am on my period. My name is Brittney by the way.

Thanks, Brittney

I have had an achy crampy pain in my pelvic, cervical and lower right side towards my ovary, hip area. Dr did internal exam and did not feel anything unusual but I felt discomfort. Had vaginal ultra sound, abdominal CT scan with contrast, colonoscopy and nothing shows up. The next procedure is a laperoscopy. (Its not caused by eating seeds or corn! ) I'm worried about ovarian cancer but everyone says that other problems can cause these symtoms too. Does anyone have any ideas whats wrong?

I have this problem, I am not pregnant either.
Soon as I stand up it feels like all my insides are going to fall out. It feels like I need to move my bowels but that is a huge mistake to try that. I have pains in my ovaries. I had a laproscopy 2 years ago to remove endometriosis. could it be that the endo has returned with different symptoms? I should also mention that I am on Ortho tri-cyclen and have been on my period for 3 weeks! I am 31 y.o. I have an appointment to see Doc in 3 days. Actually it isnt really a "period" its like brown clots/discharge. I have pressure and contractions and then I feel a clot come out.
Anyone else experiencing this kind of thing?

I am having the same problem except mine is mostly during intercourse and not in every position. but sometimes it starts out of nowhere in a position that is usually comfortable my doctor has stongly suggested a laproscopy and I suggest it for you as well and if you have no insurance then try planned parenthood, they might not be the best but when I had no insurance they helped me alot. It could be anything from cervical cancer to fibroids or endometreosis. you need to have it checked.

Wow! It's like I just joined a club for women with pain. Hello Sisters!
I too enjoy the discomfort of pelvic pain. Last Nov. my discomfort became intorerable. Songrams, CT scans w/contrast, major testing and a fibriod was found growing on the top of my uterus on the outside on a 2 inch stem. This is called a Pudunclated Tumor. It swung around inside me giving me all kinds of symptoms, cramps, stabbing pain, leg pain, back pain, and surprise attacks of pain during intercourse, and lots of pressure.
Halloween Day, 07 I had a total hysterectomy. That kicked my ass. Now I am experiencing this stupid pain again in my lower pelxic area. There's nothing gyn, left in there. So now what? After reading all the options and possbilities yesterday I decided to clean myself out to try and releive this pressure. 2 glycerin suppositories, one fell out right away, 3 tbsp Milk of Mag., and 3 tablets of stool softener. Not much happened, but I feel a bit lest pressure today. Still hurts to sit down and stand up. Laying down feels great, standing up activates the pain. Got an appointment Tues. the 15th. What now? :'( :'(

I have the same exact feeling. Pressure, Crampy pain and heaviness in the pelvic area with frequent pee trips to the bathroom. My doctor has done CT scans with contrast of the abdomen and pelvic, transvaginal ultrasound, MRI, colonoscopy and cytospcopy. They dont have an anaswer to what this is caused by. I am a cervical cancer survivor ( 3yrs in remission) and I am freaked out that its back, yet the tests are all clear. DOnt knwo what else to ask for.

Maybe you have adhesions. An adhesion is when two organs stick together at the site where there was once scar tissue from endometriosis, ovulation, infection or surgery. For more info, go to femalehealthmadesimple.com/Adhesions.html

I am now 36 years old...I had a hysterectomy at the age of 27 due to severe endo, fibroid tumors in the uterus....my uterus was triple its size and flipped over a couple of times. Previous to that diagnosis , as a teenager, they told me I would never be able to have children.......Fortunately, the doctor's were wrong and I was able to have a child and he is now in high school. They left my ovaries, but after about a year the pain returned and one had to be removed.....it died due to the fact that the endo pretty much attacked it. I stil have one ovary, but like most of you, I still have cramping, lower back pain, shooting pain up thriugh my vagina, and rectum that pretty much stops me in my tracks, as well as painful intercourse. I have had some endo and adhesion removed by laparascopy several times over the past few years. My remaining ovary is still functioning, therefore I still ovulate which makes most of the endo symptoms worse. I am glad I found this forum....feels good to vent!
