Advertising Criteria

Profanity/Violence

Advertising creative must not contain pictures or text exposing cruelty, physical, or emotional acts against any person which are primarily intended to hurt or inflict pain.

An advertisement must not contain obscene words, phrases, and profanity.

Partial Nudity and Nudity

Advertisements must not contain pictures exposing the female breast or full exposure of either male or female buttocks. However, the advertisement may include swimsuits, but may not contain pictures exposing any or all portions of the human genitalia.

Sexual Acts

It's prohibited to use pictures or text in advertisements exposing anyone or anything involved in explicit sexual acts, including masturbation, copulation, pedophilia, sodomy, intimacy involving nude or partially nude people in heterosexual, bisexual, lesbian or homosexual encounters. Additionally, dating services, phone sex, and ads which advertise pornographic or nudity content such as DVD's, magazines and similar are prohibited as well.

Gross Depictions

It's strictly prohibited to use pictures or descriptive text in advertising materials of vulgar or grossly deficient in civility persons or behavior or which show scatological impropriety. Included such depictions are maiming, bloody figures, or indecent depiction of bodily functions.

Insulting/Flaming/Intolerance

The advertisement must not contain pictures or text advocating prejudice or discrimination against any race, color, national origin, religion, disability or handicap, gender, or sexual orientation. The advertisement will not contain any intolerant jokes or slurs.

Cult ideologies

The advertisement will not contain or link to content, pictures, or text advocating devil worship, an affinity for evil, or wickedness. The advertisement contains no advocacy to join a cult. A cult is defined as a closed society that is headed by a single individual, or group of individuals, where loyalty is demanded and leaving is punishable.

Drug Culture & Drugs

The advertisement shall not contain pictures or text advocating the illegal use of drugs, as well as substances used for other than their primary purpose to alter the individual's state of mind, such as glue sniffing.

Extremism/Terrorism

An advertisement shall not contain pictures or text advocating extremely aggressive and combative behaviors, or advocacy of unlawful political measures, as well as information on weapons making, ammunition making or the making or use of pyrotechnic materials.

It's strictly prohibited to use text or graphics which contain the use of weapons for unlawful reasons.

Illegal content

An advertisement shall not contain pictures or text advocating materials or activities of a dubious nature which may be illegal in any or all jurisdictions, such as illegal business schemes, chain letters, copyright infringement, hacking, phreaking, and software piracy.

Gambling

An advertisement shall not contain text advocating gambling relating to casinos, betting, numbers games, on-line sports or financial betting, including non-monetary dares. Lottery & contest ads are exempted.

Competitive

An advertisement shall not contain pictures or text with promotions or other mentions for direct competitors of SteadyHealth.com.

Advertisements Clearly Identified

It is very important for us to keep unobstructed browsing experience for all our valued visitors and users and let them be able to distinguish advertisements and offers from health information. For this reason, all advertisements, sponsorship acknowledgments, promotional, and commercial information in the form of articles, or display advertisements (banners or logos), are separated from our consumer health information. All advertisements are clearly indicated and easily identifiable as such and are distinguished from other information. Information marked "Advertisement" on SteadyHealth may include advertisements and offers from third parties as well as "in-house" advertisements that will link you to consumer health information we wish to highlight. Each advertisement is clearly labeled. Some third-party advertisers print the word "Ads" along the top or the side of a box in which the advertisement or sponsorship acknowledgment appears as well, which clearly identify this as advertising content and distinguish it from consumer health information.

Advertisements are placed and visible only for our guest visitors. Registered members are free of third-party ads, and get only in-house advertisements which do not require any private data.

Third-party Advertisers and Partners

By accepting this policy you provide consent to our advertising partners and third-party advertisers. SteadyHealth.com is not in direct control of ad serving methods and inventory of advertising partner, except displaying their ad serving code on ad-specific areas on the website clearly identified as advertisements. Our partners have their own policies where they are obligated to clearly and transparently point out the way they interfere with user’s and partners private data. Visitors from EU/EEA territories get identified by the time zone and before they get the content displayed we automatically remove all cookies set by any of our third-party advertisers or partners. Media.net Advertising FZ-LLC does not collect Personally Identifiable Data unless you submit that information to them. Personally Identifiable Data is not collected on Partner Sites through the operation of our Technology itself.

Editorial Independence and Website Funding

SteadyHealth maintains absolute editorial independence throughout the website.

Commissions
